MOVEMBER 2011 SUMMARY
I would like to express my extreme gratitude to all our customers for their generosity and support during Movember 2011 in helping us to raise a total of $3033, finishing us in #66 place nationally.
During Movember (the month formerly known as November) Geeks on Wheels technicians put down their razor's for one month to help raise awareness and collect donations for men’s health – specifically for the Cancer Society and the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.
Every single one of our wonderful Auckland, Hamilton, Tarakani, Wellington & Christchurch technicains are to be congratulated for their stirling effort as they all raised money.
We are also very proud of the fact that we have raised considerably more money for this worthwhile case than our arch rivals - those Nerds!
It's been a lot of fun taking part in Movember, and speaking on behalf of all our team, we feel a great sense of achievement that our small effort may hopefully make a little difference to the world!
